In 1990 I built my first log cabin in the Toner Creek Wildlife Preserve, on the Gold Medal Waters of the Frying Pan River, outside of Basalt, Colorado. In 1998 I built a home in the rural and remote area on the backside of Aspen Mountain. I renovated the old miners cabin that stood on that land, as well. Last year I received an award for historic preservation and renovation for the cottage in the historic west end of Aspen. My most recent project is "44600 Highway 82", located three miles up Independence Pass (outside of Aspen). True Art is to create a good life with our families, with friends, and within our communities. Taking care to live in beauty and preserve what we have, is acknowledging our sense of place. |
